First Episode Psychosis Program

Arisa Health is helping people find positive solutions to the challenges in their lives.  As with all medical conditions, the outlook for a full recovery is more positive when behavioral health treatment is initiated quickly after the initial diagnosis.

First Episode Psychosis (FEP) is a term used to describe the experience of 100,000 adolescents and young adults (age 15-34) in the US each year who have disruptions in their thoughts and perceptions that make it difficult for them to understand what is real and what is not.

The First Episode Psychosis (FEP) Program at Arisa Health is designed to educate young people and their support sytem about what they are experiencing and the evidence-based treatment options that are available to support a full recovery.  Treatment may include psychotherapy, medication management, case management, ongoing support and education, and is focused on what matters most to the young person and their family.
